We believe Why Concentrate is the perfect protein in Recovery Sauce for many reasons:

The Amino Acid Profile: Whey concentrate is a complete protein source, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids.

The Digestibility: The minimal processing of whey concentrate makes it easily digestible and absorbable in the body.

Because Whey Concentrate contains more fat, carbohydrates and cholesterol it digests slower…

Benefits of Slower Digestion:

The Slower Digesting Whey Concentrate provides a sustained release of amino acids, which helps to provide a steady supply of energy and nutrients to the body over a longer period of time.

It can help to improve muscle growth and recovery, as the amino acids are released more slowly, allowing muscles to absorb them more effectively.

It can also help to reduce hunger, as the slow release of amino acids helps to keep the body satiated for longer.

Whey Concentrate is a great source of essential amino acids, which are important for muscle growth and overall health.

It also contains a high amount of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs), which can help to reduce fatigue and improve performance during exercise.

Because Whey Concentrate is minimally process it typically contains more lactose, fat, and cholesterol than whey isolate.

Plus – Whey concentrate contains more bioactive compounds, such as immunoglobulins, glycomacropeptides, and lactoferrin.

Bioactive compounds, such as immunoglobulins, glycomacropeptides, and lactoferrin are very beneficial because they…

Strengthen Immune System: Bioactive compounds such as immunoglobulins, glycomacropeptides, and lactoferrin are able to boost the immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells and antibodies. This helps the body fight off infections, viruses, and other illnesses.

Improve Digestive Health: These compounds help break down food and absorb nutrients, which helps with digestive health. This can help reduce bloating, gas, and cramps.

Support a Healthy Inflammatory Response: Bioactive compounds can support a healthy inflammatory response.

Increase Nutrient Absorption: The compounds can also help the body absorb more nutrients, which can help improve overall health.

Improve Skin Health: Bioactive compounds can help improve skin health by supporting a healthy inflammatory response, helping reduce acne breakouts, and providing antioxidants that can help protect the skin.

Support Bone Health: The compounds can support bone density and strength.

Recovery Sauce includes most all natural ingredients. It does contain small amounts of two artificial ingredients Xanthum Gum and Sucralose.

What is Xanthum Gum?

Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide derived from the fermentation of glucose, sucrose, or lactose. It is most commonly used as a thickener and stabilizer in foods. In Recovery Sauce it is used to help bind the ingredients together, improve the texture, and extend the shelf-life of the product.

Is Xanthum Gum safe?

Yes, xanthan gum is recognized as safe (GRAS) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is non-toxic and hypoallergenic, making it safe for most people to consume.

Recovery Sauce uses Sucralose to make the best mixable, healthy and flavorful supplement possible. We’ve tested other sweeteners and Sucralose provided the best flavor and usability.

Sucralose is a type of artificial sweetener that is much sweeter than traditional sugar, making it ideal for use in powdered supplements. Sucralose is zero calorie compared to sugar. By using Sucralose Recovery Sauce only contains 1g of sugar.

Sucralose is also heat stable so it can be used in baking and cooking.

We wanted people to be able to mix Recovery Sauce in Coffee (it’s amazing). And people also love to add Recovery sauce to cookie recipes – pancake recipes and other fun foods.

Stevia and Monk Fruit are natural sweeteners that are not as sweet as Sucralose, so they may not be suitable for use in powdered supplements. Additionally, Stevia and Monk Fruit can be affected by heat, so they may not be suitable for use in powders that will be exposed to heat.

The safety of Sucralose has been extensively evaluated by regulatory agencies around the world, and it is approved globally for use in foods and beverages as a non-caloric sweetener. Detailed metabolism studies using radio-labeled Sucralose to allow accurate determination of its fate demonstrate very little absorption from the gastrointestinal tract, and most ingested Sucralose is excreted unchanged in the feces. There is no retention or build-up in the body with long-term use, and no evidence of either dechlorination or hydrolysis of Sucralose to metabolites in any species. Unlike sucrose, there is no digestion or breakdown, confirming that Sucralose is not a source of energy or calories.

The extensive database of studies assessing genetic toxicology, short and long term safety, animal and human absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion, reproductive, development, and neurological effects and, most recently human clinical trials in healthy and diabetic subjects by numerous researchers provide a clear demonstration of safety of use of Sucralose as a non-caloric sweetener in foods and beverages.
